Vaccines Available at Men’s Vitality Center in Tucson

We are pleased to offer the following vaccines to our patients. In most cases, routine, preventive vaccines are available at no charge if we are in network with your commercial insurance plan, and at a significant discount if we are out of network. We also offer vaccines on a self pay basis if you do not have an insurance plan.

With the exception of measles, mumps, and rubella, all of the vaccines we offer are dead vaccines, and we use single-dose vials and syringes to protect your safety.

Routine Vaccines:

Flu Vaccine (seasonal) Current CDC guidelines recommend this vaccine for all patients. We use a dead, quadrivalent vaccine.
Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis (TdAP) Administered every five to ten years. A booster is given if you intend to become a father within the next year, or if you have children at home.
Human Papillomavirus (HPV) (Gardasil-9) For patients age 26 and younger. This vaccine protects against a wide range of diseases, and is a standard vaccine for all men. This is a series of three inoculations.
Pneumococcal 23-Valent Vaccine (Pneumovax-23) Current guidelines advise this vaccine for people with asthma, respiratory diseases, and certain immune diseases.
Meningococcal (Meningitis) Vaccine For patients at age 14, and prior to starting college. It may also be recommended by a physician for certain patients in other higher-risk groups.
Hepatitis A Vaccine Important for patients traveling to international destinations, especially Mexico. This is a series of two inoculations.
Hepatitis B Vaccine Typically a standard vaccine at birth in the United States, but we can provide this vaccine if you were not immunized, or if your immunization was ineffective. This is a series of three inoculations.

This is a series two of inoculations. If you are unsure of your vaccine status, we urge you to find out, particularly if you plan to become a father.
